We hired Instant for a Poly-B removal and a basement rough-in. The Poly-B removal and shower valve replacements went very smoothly; the work was completed quickly and to a high standard. However, the bathroom rough-in phase was where we encountered significant issues. We failed our first inspection because a one-way check valve was installed in the incorrect location, which delayed our project by at least two weeks.

The technical errors continued with the main plumbing stack, which was left protruding from the wall. To drywall over it, I had to add material to the stud wall, which narrowed the room. Because the toilet flange had also been installed at the incorrect distance from the wall, this extra material ensured a standard 12" toilet would no longer fit. These issues were unfortunately discovered after the concrete had already been poured. While the technician was dismissive and argumentative when I raised these concerns with him directly, the owner was excellent to deal with and rectified the situation by providing a 10" toilet to replace the one I had purchased.

I hoped the issues would end there, but I later discovered the shower drain was installed at an angle that made it impossible to set the shower base. This required me to rip out the fresh concrete and re-plumb the drain myself, costing a full day of labor. While the owner was understanding and provided some compensation for my time, the series of egregious errors and lack of attention to detail during the rough-in makes it impossible for me to recommend their services. The management is professional, but the quality of the field execution was not there.

I recently had Ben, Phili, and Carter come replace our old water heater with a IBC Tankless with recirculation system. These 3 guys were the absolute best people you could ever have come work at your house. They were all friendly, professional, caring, and hard working. I could tell they were putting serious effort into the job and their workmanship shows the pride they take in the job. I could not be happier!

Not only was the install great, but the entire quoting and sales process was also fantastic. Ben took the time to walk me through the options, consult with me on my questions, and came in with a well priced, fair quote right from the beginning. Even after the install Ben has been fantastic answering any further questions I’ve had about the system, and Ashley in the office has been awesome helping me get the inspection scheduled with the city.

As you can tell by the photo i was dealing with a difficult situation (clogged main drain pipe). The technician assessed the situation and then advised on courses of action... i was able to resolve the clogged through the technician's guidance... I highly recommend Instant Plumbing & Heating... professional and fair.... from my experience this outfit will treat you fairly for services rendered.

This was my second time using Instant Plumbing this year, first for a hot water tank replacement in May and now for a furnace install. My quote was beyond reasonable, I felt like they were honest in what they were telling me I did or didn't need, and they were able to schedule me in for the furnace replacement within the week. Ben worked on both jobs and was on-time, tidy, and thorough in the install and explanations. Thanks again for another great experience with Instant!
