Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Down the Drain Plumbers. Called on a Saturday when my toilet valve went and Dave supported over the phone to help me manage in the short term til they could repair it. So friendly and explained everything. Very reasonable price too. Excellent all round. Great to have a trusted local plumber.

Really recommended. I called the service 24 hours before we arranged an appointment, and he successfully unplugged a bad blockage in my kitchen pipe in just a little over an hour.

Dave quickly identified the issue, got the drain flowing again and gave advice how to prevent it happening in the future. Price was very reasonable and discussed in advance with no hidden costs. Would recommend to anyone

had a blocked sink I could not deal with. Called up at 8am, immediate response, pricing clearly explained, arranged a window for that day but at 8.45 another job fell through and Dave senior came by 9am. Cleared the blockage immediately, and advised on how avoid future problems. Highly professional, courteous and good value. They will be my regular local plumber in future!

We had a previous quote for patching from another company and were suspicious of the cost.
Dave from Down The Drain explained clearly what was involved over the phone and the estimate he gave was what we ended up paying. First class response to the call recognising the urgency. Super efficient, courteous throughout and showed us the repair work to a cracked waste pipe via their camera. A complete local service and grateful to them for it.
