We were able to book online, after hours. Aaron showed up 15 mins into the service window. He explained every step, provided options - DIY or have him fix it - and listened to my concerns. He was pleasant and easy to talk to. We're very satisfied.

I am a senior with a husband requiring constant care--plumbing is NOT my forte!
Mohamed and Eric were awesome at fixing my toilet, my leaking faucet, putting in a shut off valve for hot and cold water in my leaking faucet area, installed the filters under the kitchen and fixed my outside hose extender that i could not tighten!
They were VERY friendly and so very helpful and polite!
Super Thanks to Mohamed and Eric!
You guys were so awesome!

CRISSSPIIIIINNNN !!!! And Owen came.
We sat around the waterplace (no fireplace, they are plumbers), and we discussed about life and tragedy in regards to my 2 leaking valves.
After analyzing the battlefield, we decided (yeah I felt part of the team at that point) to fix those valves.
1 hour, including chat about philosophy , the state of west end ottawa (aka the "westbeach hoodz" as we call it) and other stuff, the problems were fixed. The ceiling was saved, all traces were removed of their passage.
I still hear the whisper of their elegance and professionalism echoes through my pipes. I can still smell their talents and ponctuality running in my water.
I enjoyed it.
They enjoyed it.
Call them.
Call me.
Call everyone: let's have a party with pipes!!!

This was my personal experience with John the Plumber. I had contacted them for an issue with my sump pump running continuously. The plumber arrived on time for first level inspection, which cost me $79 + tax. I agree my sump pump was looking rusty (it did have some age into it), but it was working well and was able to pump water out from the sump pit. The issue was with the float switch, which was not turning off the pump correctly. Instead of checking thoroughly into the issue, the plumber rather informed me that the pump needs to be replaced and gave a quote of approximately $1600 + tax. I was shocked to hear this. Good that I did not approve this quote and investigated the issue myself. I was able to replace the float switch costing $50 only, and the sump pump is running fine now.
I was not expecting such a level of response from John the Plumber. I would personally not recommend based on my experience.

Matt from "John The Plumber" was fantastic! He was professional, patient, and took the time to answer all my questions. He clearly explained the issue and what was needed to resolve it. Highly recommend!
