Richard’s and his crew did a good job around our perimeter drainage however, did not honoured his promises to follow up with the concrete work to redo the jackhammered areas that were done poorly by a man called Jessy. Had made several calls and emails with no responds to come fix the many areas that should’ve been corrected and cleaned. Just not fair to leave us with this shoddy job.

If you are considering perimeter drain services I highly recommend Richard and his team. As a new homeowner, I didn't have a lot of wiggle room in my renovation budget. Richard quoted a very competitive price (best out of 3 other quotes) and their was no surprises or extra costs, even when they had to do more work than anticipated to jackhammer out a buried cement drain basin. He was able to dig out my drains with my deck still attached and upgrade my drain system to a two pipe system. Richard was very communicative and answered all my questions. Perimeter drains are not the most exciting home renovation project, but if you need them done at a fair price and with quality work, contact Richard and his team.

We called them for an inspection and scheduled for Friday at 8 am. We drove almost 90 minutes to the property and waited for them. They didn't show up. We called the technician who was supposed to come and left a message on his voice mail since he didn't respond. After 30 minutes, we called their office, and they said they would call back. They never called and never showed up. We waisted almost the entire day, and they didn't even have the courtesy to call us to cancel. Not to be trusted.

Had Richard and Jenny come out to clear a couple drains. One they were unsure of on the driveway even though they said they put in 160 ft of hose and one they cleared by side of house. They charged me $400. When the rains came a few days later, the driveway drain backed up again. Called Richard and said he would not come back out to address the problem. Said he did all he could. Then he said that the driveway would need to be cut up to redirect the piping at an estimated cost of between $4000-$5000. So I called another company. Within minutes they were able to tell me where the blockage was. On their second visit they excavated part of the yard to put in new piping. The total cost of that job was $1400! An easier fix and at considerably less money.

Richard and his partner came and scoped our drains and showed us exactly what was happening to cause the flooding that we had in our basement. They told us what we should consider doing right away, what could be done in stages and what was fine and didn't need any replacement - we really appreciated this honesty and that there was no attempt to have us replace drains that were still in good condition. The quote to do the work was very reasonable.
They showed up on the appointed date and the crew worked hard through some terrible weather to get the job done in under the estimated time frame. They were fast, courteous, friendly and quiet (other than the jackhammer for a couple of hours to take up concrete I never heard anything more than muted conversation). Care was taken to protect the grass area as much as possible and the clean up was fantastic. They put everything back and tidied up such that the space actually looks better now than before they started!
I would absolutely recommend Richard and his team, we are very happy with the work they did and would not hesitate to use them again in the future if needed.
