I rarely review...but I had a very disappointing experience with BBL Plumbing and Drains. I called Luc Myre the owner, multiple times regarding a job he had done at my house. His response rate was extremely poor —last year the response rate was good and quick he had a great team of technicians, but now ...he rarely answers calls or returns messages.
He eventually called back and made appointments several times, but never showed up. He kept postponing the job and repeatedly promised he would come, but didn’t follow through.
In the end, I had to call another plumber to fix the leak in my basement that was caused by his work.
I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Very disappointed with the service from BBL Plumbing and Drains "luc myre" . The work done at my house in the Beaches was extremely unprofessional, a few weeks ago and the final bill was far higher than expected. After speaking with a few friends in the trade, I realized the hourly rates being charged were way beyond reasonable for the quality of work provided — $225/hour is outrageous for this level of service.

To make matters worse, I was sold a part that costs around $15 at Home Depot for $95. That kind of markup without transparency is unacceptable.
I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for honest pricing or professional plumbing services.

Excellent experience with BBL Plumbing! We had an emergency leak and they responded incredibly fast. The technician was knowledgeable, efficient, and very professional. Pricing was fair and the quality of work was top-notch. I will definitely be using BBL again for any future plumbing needs.

An incredibly unprofessional experience with Luc Myre (apparently the owner) who said the night before that he'd be able to meet me at my house, regarding my sewer backup, within a half hour timeframe if I came home from work at lunch.

I texted in the morning, confirming our appointment with no response. I texted 2 minutes before our 11:30 appointment time saying I had arrived home with no response. I waited 10 minutes and texted again asking him if he was on his way with, again, no response. I then called (I had 12min left before I had to leave for work) and he told me he was parking. I watched the empty parking spot in front of my house and waited and waited. It wasn't true at all... he was NOT parking (at least, not in front of MY house!) I texted, letting him know I needed to return to work. His response was that he was "running late" and his ETA was 1hr.

Needless to say, I expressed my frustration at wasting my time, rushing from work to meet him, with no updates from him regarding "running late", not to mention his dishonesty about parking, and let him know I'd be looking elsewhere for my plumbing needs. Shortly after, I recieved a text saying he "got tied up and forgot about the time" and could come now or later on in the day. After I was back at work!

I understand getting busy and running late but to do so without any communication is so incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful (particularly knowing I was coming home from work and had only a half hour available). The lie about parking? Just bizarre.

I took my business elsewhere - to a top-notch, professional company with the utmost professionalism, and amazing customer service and communication.

I would not recommended this company. After this unprofessional and dishonest behaviour, I would certainly not trust them with my plumbing needs.
