Indoor Comfort went above and beyond when replacing my poly B piping. Their technician put in an incredibly long day so that the job could be completed - That effort was very much appreciated and definitely not the norm from my experience. I would recommend Indoor Comfort for any Plumbing or HVAC needs.

I have never posted a bad review of a Company before so I am disappointed to have to do so. I paid a deposit for a service with this Company in good faith. Shortly after I paid the deposit and well before the service was to be performed, I decided not to proceed for a variety of reasons.
I have contacted the Company by telephone three times, as well as by email, about refunding my deposit. To date I have not received the refund and they haven’t contacted me about it. I am a senior who trusted this Company. At no time did they ever say the deposit was not refundable. I am posting this review because people should be cautious about dealing with them. This type of business practice leads one to suspect they are in financial difficulty. In addition, they gave me a quote for another service (labor to replace a leaking water tank under warranty). Their quote for labor was $1,900. I used a different company yesterday for less than $600. They are either incompetent or are overcharging customers. Very sad. I will be taking this matter to the Better Business Bureau.

⭐ 1 Star
I want to be fair, so I'll start with this: the technician who came to our home (Sean) was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. This review is not about him.
This review is about the business practices of Alberta Indoor Comfort as a company.
We originally came to them for a standard AC unit. We were talked into a heat pump instead. We trusted their expertise. Since then, the heat pump has had issues requiring two service visits — and both times, we were charged hundreds of dollars despite being under warranty.
The air filtration system they sold us requires proprietary filters you cannot buy anywhere — not Home Depot, not Rona, not Amazon. The only place they fit? Through Alberta Indoor Comfort, at $450 each.
The UV purification system they recommended for my wife's asthma and our pets? The bulb needs replacing and it costs $622.57. Through them, of course. No one mentioned that at the time of sale.
Now here's what pushed us over the edge:
On May 12, 2026, Sean came for a routine annual maintenance visit on a system that is ONE YEAR OLD. His own report stated the system was "cleaned and calibrated" — functioning properly. Before he left, we were handed FIVE separate "priority" estimates totalling $11,665.47.
On a one-year-old system. That their own technician confirmed was working fine.
Aeroseal Duct Sealing: $3,912
Water Softener System: $4,524
UV Bulb: $622
Duct Cleaning: $962
Filters + Bulb: $1,643
We have filed a formal complaint with Service Alberta Consumer Protection.
If you are considering using this company, please go in with your eyes open. Ask for a complete breakdown of ALL long-term ownership costs before you sign anything. Ask specifically what is and is not covered under warranty — in writing. And get a second opinion before agreeing to any recommendations.
We wish someone had warned us.

One star is still too much, but I could’nt leave it blank. Now it should be zero. Very disappointed with Alberta Indoor Comfort. We called 5 weeks ago today to have the Navian tankless hot water system taken down and replaced with a hot water tank. (System is 3 years old and has never worked properly). It takes minutes and minutes to get warm water, not hot, it makes loud grinding noises when it’s being used, and has to be reset after using hot water; like taking a shower, or using the dish washer, or washing machine.
They have ignored our calls, and lied to us about calling us back. They had the Navian Tech come look at the system with no resolution of replacing the lemon on the wall. After reading other reviews, with similar issues, Alberta indoor comfort does not return your calls if replacing any equipment will cost them money. You can call everyday and no one returns your calls They have yet to give us a date for delivery of hot water tanks. Customer loyalty means nothing to them; we have been with them for over 25 yrs. Customer service is non existent, especially if you want something replaced that’s still under warranty. We believe their motto is “We’re not happy until you have no hot water and you’re not happy”. This whole situation is stressful and we are sorry we ever had a Navian system installed, and used Alberta Indoor Comfort. Stay away from this company, they are unprofessional and their ethics is deplorable.

Update Apr 11, : they didn’t call me even they replied here, they will contact me.
DO NOT USE ALBERTA INDOOR COMFORT – COMPLETE SCAMMERS!
I had the worst experience with this company and I want to warn everyone to stay far away from them. My furnace stopped working in February, during a week when it was -25°C. I trusted them to fix it, and all they did was take my money and waste my time.
Day 1: A technician came and charged me $150 for a diagnostic and $499 for a “service,” claiming the furnace just needed cleaning and it would work after that.
Day 2: A cleaner came and did a full vent and heat exchange cleaning, which cost me almost $1,000! After all that, he suddenly claimed my thermostat was broken and that was why the furnace wasn’t working. So why did I just spend $1,500 and still have no heat??
Day 3: Another technician showed up and said the problem was a loose cable in the thermostat. Then he tried to sell me a new furnace for $8,000–$10,000 or a “bandage fix” for $3,000 or partial replacement for $6,000. My furnace is only 4 YEARS OLD. Why would I replace it??
Day 5: I called another company—the original builder’s installer—and they fixed the real issue for $250. That’s it. Problem solved.
Day 7–45: I kept calling Alberta Indoor Comfort to ask for an explanation and refund. They refused to take my calls, ignored my voicemails, and never called me back. No apology, no responsibility. Nothing. They scammed me and ran.
On top of that:
• They left my bathroom covered in dust and didn’t clean up.
• Left a SHARP SCREW on my carpet where someone could’ve gotten hurt.
• Left fingerprints all over my walls and ceilings when cleaning the vents.
This company is unprofessional, dishonest, and dangerous. They caused more stress and damage than help. They prey on people in emergencies and try to upsell unnecessary repairs to make money.
DO NOT TRUST THEM. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
If I could give zero stars, I would.
