We contacted Mont-Carmel Plumbing in 2025 regarding a malfunctioning septic tank pump. The plumber scheduled an appointment for 9:00 AM but arrived at 3:00 PM. Without inspecting the pump, he concluded that it wasn't the problem and that the septic tank was simply full. Unsurprisingly, after the septic tank was pumped, the problem persisted. I had indicated that I believed the issue was with the pump, as it had been ongoing for several months.
We requested that the plumber return to fix the problem. When he came back and inspected the pump, he found that the sensor was stuck. He repositioned it and left, and the problem was resolved. We then received a bill for the second visit, in which he charged us for a new pump, even though it had NEVER been replaced. We have repeatedly tried to have the second invoice cancelled by contacting the plumber who did the work via email, phone, and text message, without success. We sent a formal notice requesting cancellation of the invoice, but they continue to send it and demand payment. We have now resorted to taking legal action in Small Claims Court to have the invoice cancelled.

Several insistent calls to the call center were required before I received a callback for the first appointment. The employees were courteous and professional. However, the same problem persists; I received no callback after my second request for intervention from the call center, as the issue remains unresolved. Very disappointed!
