Just would like to give a shout out to the employee Chris he went above and beyond to get oil in our tank we were without oil for 3 days this should have been a metro housing problem but chris went out of his way to get us oil.He should be recognized for his effort. Thankyou chris

Quick, friendly, and efficient service.

Arrived to work this morning and had to turn around and head home as a gasket on our furnace had failed and was leaking water.

Bremners arrived quickly and swapped the gasket out. Technician was friendly and knowledgeable. Cleaned up his mess right down to the boot prints on our stairs. If you didn’t know, you couldn’t tell anyone was there to work at all. Took payment right at the door (super convenient)

Highly recommend and will use again.

Unfortunately we had a clog in the basement last night. Called this company and not only did they come out last minute but they also came out a few hours sooner. Did an amazing job, fixed and cleaned up everything. VERY PROFESSIONAL TO DEAL WITH. From the phone call to the guy who came they are amazing. Ross was to the point, got it done an gone. I deal with a lot of different business every week with my job and I have to give credit where it’s due. I wish everyone was as well mannered and kind as Ross, you can feel it from him that he’s a down to earth great guy. Thanks again for taking care of us today!!

Amazing experience all-around!

After initially inquiring about water heaters, I was told Adam (the owner) would call me personally. Bremner's is not a small operation so I was extremely impressed the owner would make the time to speak to me. Adam was extremely knowledgeable and unlike other companies I contacted, I did not feel pressured for an estimate. I really appreciated Adam’s approach and he made me feel at ease, answering all my questions.

I did a LOT of research before finally choosing Bremner's. You may think the rating on a Google business profile tells you about the reputation of a business but reviews may not be accurate or even authentic (there are lots of fake reviews being posted) so it is important to be diligent. 70+ reviews may not seem impressive compared to some of the other plumbing companies that have a lot more but some businesses are not actively soliciting reviews.

What is most important is the track record of a business and no other plumbing and heating business can match Bremner’s: 106 years in business and an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau after being accredited since 1975. I believe newly accredited businesses start with an A rating so for a business to have an A or A+ rating after a few years is not difficult to achieve. A company maintaining a perfect rating after almost 50 years of being accredited is extremely impressive and was the deciding factor for me.

Paul, the installer was great! Very friendly and efficient. He has worked for Bremner’s for 18 years and I was told many other plumbers in the company have been there was just as long. That speaks volumes about how the business is managed.

This is the longest review I have ever written but I wanted to address considerations for finding a quality company.
I have had my own business for over 22 years so when I make recommendations I put my name on the line.
Bremner’s is a GREAT choice!

Poor experience in an emergency situation; our oil furnace broke on a cold day, they charged us 1.5 times the cost for an after hours visit ($150/hr instead of $100/hr), during the service they urged us to replace the aquastat for $535.00 saying “our pipes would freeze” and that the “aquastat was unrepairable”. I later read that the problem was likely a faulty switch and we could have repaired this without replacing the box. Then they started an additional job repairing the wires to the thermostat, which we did not request, and which they failed to accomplish and still charged at 1.5 times cost, without asking us. I would strongly recommend against their services; I feel taken advantage of.
