I tried multiple time to reach out regarding concerns about my service with no response- very disappointed in the customer service. I do not recommend. This is the email I sent after calling them texting several times outlining the issues (again with no response):

Greetings,
I hope this email finds you well. I'm writing to offer feedback on my experience with the services I received from your company.
To begin, my husband called to book an appointment in May, and we found the team was responsive, courteous and responded quickly to our request. Our original visit was promptly scheduled. Then we were notified that a team member had an emergency to deal with and that our appointment needed to be rescheduled. Of course we supported this, though it required me to take additional time off of work to accommodate the times available.
Then on May 26th, we were visited by Curtis D who came to do the assessment and complete the work of addressing our blocked bathroom sink drain and replacing our tub diverter that was leaking which ultimately required a spout replacement. Curtis was very courteous and offered great advice to prevent our sink clogging in the future. He then quoted me between $400-500.00 for the work. I was concerned with the large discrepancy of a 22% difference in the quote, given that is seemed to me, this was a very straightforward repair. He did not explain what would affect the price difference in the quote and we were charged $508.00 and the price breakdown of the service was not indicated on the invoice. Before he left he showed me the operational new spout and told me to wait 24hrs before using it, which we did.
Also, when my husband called to book the service, he was told that we would be charged for a consult visit and that a percentage of the consultation charge for the call out would be applied to the quote if we proceeded with the services, which we did not see as a deduction on our final invoice.
When I then used the shower for the first time the following evening, over 24 hours later, I noticed that the caulking did not go all the way around the faucet and that there were gaps between the faucet and the caulking. It then occurred to me that it appeared that he did not strip the original caulking and merely added new caulking on top of the previous one and it was not done all the way around the faucet. I know that this is not best practice and given the rate that I paid for the work, I would expect that the job would include proper caulking on a faucet replacement. Its important to note that this part of the work is also not indicated on the invoice. I contacted the company the following work day, Monday June 1st, and did not hear from them till Friday after another check in on my part. Another visit was then scheduled (this would be the 3rd day where I was required to take time off work) and Curtis came to repair the caulking. When he got to my home, we was in the bathroom for less than 3 minutes and then told me the job was done and said we needed to wait 24 hours before showering again, implying that this was the issue last time, and then he left. When I went to inspect, it was clear he had very quickly applied another layer of caulking on top of the previous one and that it had been done half hazardously as it was dripping down at the base and again was done as patchwork vs the proper removal and application of fresh caulking.

I then called to report my concerns and left a message requesting a call back from a manager. It was another week before I had heard back via text on Jun 12th, where I was instructed to send feedback to this email. I texted back requesting my preference of a call to better support a dialogue of my concerns to which I never received a response.

My main concerns are the cost discrepancy of the original quote, the poor quality of work regarding the faucet caulking and the lack of customer service follow up based on these concerns.

I hope that we can connect to come to a supportive resolution and I look forward to hearing back from you.

Jack came by and did a diagnostic on our ac unit in our salon. It had been leaking water. He found a clog and cleared the leak. He also climbed on the room to do a maintenance check of the AC unit to double check it’s in good working order without charging us for any of it. He was professional, timely and did a great job. The admin team is also so easy to book with. Excellent company and will be using them in the future for all our plumbing and cooling needs.

Really happy that I contacted them Friday afternoon when our water tank just started leaking. They not only provided the most competitive replacement package but also came early morning on Saturday to get the job done, swiftly, professionally, and cleanly. And they even installed new water valves so next time if a leaking happens we don't need to turn off the master water valve for the whole house. Garrett attended and fixed everything well, and, he was polite, informative and helpful. The cost of a call out was reasonable, and became part of the actual work. I will recommend Pioneer Plumbing to friends and colleagues.

We always call Pioneer for any plumbing issues or work. I called them out as I thought our PVR (pressure valve regulator that reduces water pressure from city mains to the house) and Scott was able to identify that the water pressure setting wasn’t correct and fixed it right away. They’re also great if you have a plumbing emergency as we called them a few months ago and they were able to get someone out on a Saturday night!

We contacted Pioneer Plumbing for an issue in a store front premises and their responses and follow through were timely and throrough. Morgan did an excellent job, including some follow up that meant we didn't need to call any other service provider. He kept me informed, was very thorough, and thoughtful. Pioneer Plumbing had also done excellent work previously at my home.

Amazing service from start to finish.

Linda was incredibly patient with all of our questions, especially since this was our first time replacing a hot water tank. Even after the scheduling was completed, our strata requested additional documentation, and Linda responded quickly and provided everything we needed without any hassle. We contacted two other companies, and Pioneer’s pricing was very reasonable in comparison.

The technician, Ben, arrived on time and took the time to explain everything clearly before getting started. He noticed a dent in the new hot water tank and immediately called a colleague to pick up a replacement. Just under two hours later, he cane with a brand‑new tank. That level of care and attention really impressed us.

Another technician, Stephen, came out to look at our furnace. He was also very friendly and quickly identified the issue, providing us with a quote. While the cost felt a bit high for the work required, we were so happy with the service overall that we decided to proceed. He completed the job within an hour.

I would definitely recommend Pioneer Plumbing and Heating. The entire experience was top‑notch from beginning to end. A+ service!

Pioneer did an excellent job. We got a floodstopper installed to our laundry unit. Curtis came in and moved our washer dryer, installed the floodstopper, and after testing it worked really well! It took a pro to do it so fast and I appreciated it. Also thank you to Rochelle for helping facilitate all this. They will be my go-to plumbers now.

We had an issue of a leak in our building that was causing a massive water draw. We wanted to have someone come in to assess whether our unit was the issue, as we could hear running water behind the wall in our bathroom.

I had previously used another local company, Mr. Rooter - which I had been happy with. And while I can’t fault the quality of the work they did for me, something has gone by the wayside in terms of their customer service AND their prices have increased dramatically. Not to mention they weren’t going to be able to get to me until after the weekend.

I called Pioneer Plumbers and they were able to fit me in the next day, with a price that was more down to earth. The plumber they sent was fantastic! He made a thorough investigation in our apartment, and then went into the stairwell and basement to listen to the pipes. In the end he properly assessed that our unit was not the issue, but gave us critical information that we were able to pass on to the strata council.

Very happy with the service we received.
