We had a very disappointing experience with Delta Plumbers of Niagara. We called them for a clogged basement toilet, and after their initial attempt, the plumber claimed the toilet was still blocked and recommended an additional service costing nearly $700.
What raised concerns was the video evidence they provided. The video showed the toilet being flushed with little to no water in the bowl, which naturally caused the water level to rise rather than demonstrate whether the drain was actually clogged. Based on this, they insisted further expensive work was needed.
Fortunately, we declined the additional service. Later, when our cleaner checked the toilet, it was flushing and functioning normally with no issues at all. This left us questioning whether the recommended $700 add-on was truly necessary.
We understand that plumbing diagnostics can sometimes be complex, but recommending costly additional work when the issue appears to have already been resolved does not inspire confidence. Homeowners should be cautious and consider seeking a second opinion before approving expensive upsells.
Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling pressured into unnecessary additional work, and we cannot recommend their services based on our experience.

We were told our shower handles were so old that it was impossible to repair (we had a simple leak), we were quoted $1300 plus tax, without even touching it just simply by glancing at it, which we refused but were still charged the visit fee of $100. Another company fixed it with no issues whatsoever for $150 plus tax the same day.

We hired Delta plumbers to come fix a a leak and they charged us 950 for a diagnostic. We managed to get the price down to 800 but it was still too expensive. After that we decided that we would go with someone else. He tried charging us at least 150 for travel time. Obviously we said no but what surprised us what that HE SAT DOWN IN MY HOME AND SAID HE WASNT GOING TO LEAVE UNTIL WE GAVE HIM 150 BUCKS. Very rude and very sketchy. Had I been thinking straight I would have called the police but I was just so appalled by his behavior.
I made the mistake of accepting his price of 800 and he ended up breaking through our ceiling to attach a simple plastic pipe. Definitely not worth 950.
But even if I can excuse rude behavior the real issue was after the initial service where HE REFUSED TO REPAIR THE CEILING HE SMASHED THROUGH TO ACCESS THE PIPE! We argued for a bit and he said his manager was going to contact us but he never did. After a week we contacted the manager directly and he said he would pay us 150 to repair the roof ourselves.
Not only did he overcharge us by a HUGE margin, treated us extremely rudely, trespassed and straight up scammed us but he was also charging us for them to come and finish the job we paid for.
If you want the absolute worst in the industry and the definition of what to avoid, look no further than the crooks at Delta Plumbing Niagara Falls. Take your money elsewhere, you'll save time, expenses, your home and a headache. It's only a matter of time until they get sued.
TL,DR - CROOKS! DO NOT HIRE!
P.S, they did not send us the 150 until 2025/08/27

My sink was blocked due to dirt and several food particles for days. A friend referred me to them and when I called them they came to my rescue within 2 hours.
