I can’t say enough incredible things about actif. They recently helped me with gas heating systems across several warehouses, and the entire experience was absolutely outstanding from start to finish.

Coordinating heating work in multiple large spaces can be complicated, but their team made it seamless. They were responsive, organized, and clearly experts in what they do. Every detail was handled efficiently, timelines were respected, and the quality of work was exceptional.

I especially want to recognize Francis, the technician who worked with us. Francis was phenomenal. His professionalism, technical knowledge, and attention to detail truly stood out. Arrived at the house as planned, worked tirelessly - plumbing and electricity- as a team, pleasant and helpful. Finished very rapidly, a rather complex situation and when departed the house was clean. And the price was very competitive. I recommend Actif wholeheartedly.

It’s been a long road to get a good service for my hydronic heating system. After some very unpleasant experiences with some major service companies I came upon ACTIF. They came recommended to me by a few people. Francis showed up to clean and service our gas boiler and it was immediately clear what kind of company I was dealing with. He was friendly, clean and thorough. The previous technician had made some serious mistakes on the boiler which Francis fixed for me. He also took the time to explain how to best maintain my boiler - which is older. He didn’t hard-sell me on upgrading like the other company. And that’s smart because when I eventually do upgrade to a dual-energy system - I’m calling ACTIF. The fact that they are honest, do good work and are reasonably priced makes them an easy choice. Give them a call, you will not be disappointed.

He took the time to walk me through every step of the work that needed to be done, breaking down the costs and giving me clear options to choose from. His inspection was incredibly thorough—he even spotted and fixed some additional issues I didn’t know about. Beyond his expertise, Francis was professional, friendly, and just radiated honesty. Our furnace was failing in February, making more and more noise, while generating less and less heat.

ACTIF was responsive (one hour email turnaround of my first email - on a Sunday, and ready to perform the work within a few days), precise (detailed quote with the part numbers of the equipment to be installed), efficient (quoted based on my pictures sent by email, came at the agreed time, installed the exact items called out in the quote, tested the result, and was done in time for a late lunch), patient (worked with me to scope out a full system replacement rather than the replacement of certain defective parts that I had initially requested), and respectful (answered all of our many questions and cleaned up all the mess). The installation is tidy and easily accessible as can be seen in the pictures, and the system purred quietly along till spring, keeping our home comfortably warm. I went from being totally preoccupied with our heating situation to forgetting about it completely. I held off reviewing to know if there would be any issues and there are none!

I would do business with this company again for sure!
