Jonathan and his team helped deal with major drainage issues in my boyfriend's home early autumn 2025. Not only did he scoped the drains but he noted the perimeter drains in the back and one side of the house were completely shot with roots growing through the pipes.
After an arborist job's to take a tree down, Jonathan and his crew went in there to excavate the area and completely replaced the perimeter drains. He also took note that there were roots from the Garry Oak tree in the front yard going into the sewer pipes so he went in there to get that taken care of.
After the wonderful job, I want to ensure I maintain contact with this company and make sure the drains/pipes get inspected every 3-5 years going forward due to the mature growth of trees in my boyfriend's property. Peace of mind with good maintenance is a household priority. Having new perimeter drains is a huge godsend as it has been a very wet winter season and there would definitely be potential flooding that this issue not been addressed. Thank you!
Funny enough it was one of my RMTs who highly recommended this company due to the wonderful work he has done for his own home. I'm very picky of people whom I trust and their recommendations so this is definitely not a letdown!

Jonathan and team did an excellent job for our townhouse strata this winter, clearing out drains, installing drain covers and attending to a few other issues. Jonathan was professional and friendly, responsive and respectful. We were grateful to him for being willing to ascend a long ladder in a less than ideal placement to access our roof. I highly recommend Jonathan at Watts Plumbing and Drains.
Jonathan came to inspect our perimeter drain during our presale home inspection last March. He shuffled his schedule to make the inspection happen within our short window. He quickly provided an easy-to-read report with lots of good quality pictures. With the report, he listed some recommended maintenance including to clean (auger) the line as a root system had formed in one location. Summer came and went, and unfortunately, we never got the maintenance done.
Fast forward to last weekend’s atmospheric river. Water came up a floor drain within the crawl space exactly adjacent to where Jonathan had flagged the concerning root system within the exterior portion of the perimeter drain. I contacted Jonathan on Monday morning, and he was able to fit us in his schedule for later in the week. He came and scoped the line. He managed to cut through the root system and flushed out the line. All in all, Jonathan is very efficient, very responsive, and very skilled at his craft.

Jonathan watts has been a great connection to have. He has inspected and serviced several complex drain systems for me here in victoria. He was able to save me thousands of dollars by clearing a drain that was completely blocked under the concrete slab in my garage! He is easy to deal with and I highly recommend his work. 6/5 stars.
