Absolutely rip off artists! I fear for the elderly with this company! They will take advantage of them! Had Mr Swirl out to change a valve in my basement shower (the hot setting wasn’t working). I already had it diagnosed 2 years ago and bought the part for $30. Mr Swirl wanted to change more than needed (fine, fair enough). They didn’t use my part (again.. fine, fair enough). The quote was originally $2600. It was brought down with a website “coupon”. The total was $2279.43. The part up charge was $1892.42 for the shower valve which the same exact part (and part number) is $69.98 at Home Depot (that’s without plumbers parts discount so you know it’s probably 1/2 that) same story for the Delta extra large trim plate. They are charging $386.17 where Rona sells the same one for $40.29 (cost to public without company discount).
I ended up just taking 25 min of my own time to put my $30 part in and fixed the problem. I was just being lazy wanting a plumber to do it.
The point of my post is how Mr Swirl is charging an extra $1800 on an $70 part! Completely trying to take advantage of women and seniors!

Had a good experience with Mark who was training Kevin. I appreciate the positive energy and politeness in communication. Work was done quickly, thoroughly and efficiently so I provided ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars, personally. Mark also asked the answered my questions and given me education. 👉 However- the company site or administrative staff isn't set up to check or screen for returning clients before billing. I have been been a client on at least another occasion. Being a new client affected my pricing. Know this ahead of time and call instead as the online booking does not check this. I did not feel valued as a customer despite returning. I was quoted for cheaper service by other plumbing companies after the fact and I regret booking. Call and plan way in advance to get quotes before you agree to work.

Had a plumbing issue pop up, and they sorted it out fast, did clean work, and the price was actually fair (no crazy upcharges). Super happy with the service. Love that it's a Canadian-owned company too
feels good supporting local.
Big props to the owner he's super involved, checks in with the team, and you can tell he cares about his guys and the jobs. Not some big corporate thing.

We were able to get our water heater replaced within a day of the initial visit. We were kept up to date on timing through texts. Harleen (technician - spelling may not be right) was excellent. Very friendly, helped me understand the job, very efficient and knowledgeable. Gave me information to record re: warranties, maintenance and communication. And Mark, who helped with the tank moving, was very nice to deal with also. Overall, a very pleasant service experience. And the phone communication with Ally was professional and much appreciated.
