I'm not sure why, but the Memorial Dr. location has poor customer service, while the other location has good customer service. They just ignore you or act like you're bothering them if you ask for something. I'm guessing all the grumpy staff are put to work at the Memorial Dr. store.
Edit: Recently returned to this store to buy a few odds and ends and staff were much more friendly this time, so I'm happy things are better. Adding a star to original review.

I am new to North Bay. I use a wheelchair to get around town, and have tried to shop at several hardware stores, although they boasted wheel-chair accessibility, they were not. The aisles were too narrow and there was so many products stacked at the end of each aisle, that I couldn't maneuver without knocking things down. This store however IS ACTUALLY wheel-chair accessible. I was able to go down the aisles and access the complete store without hindrance. It was so clean and uncluttered. The staff were friendly and helpful. They suggested the proper hardware for my project. The salesman even gave me the instruction and courage to complete the project myself. Kudos to this store and staff. It is where I will go from now on, for all my hardware needs.

Don't like to leave negative reviews for places but the online ordering experience for this location was absolutely horrendous. Ordered products online on Friday and received an email saying the order would be ready in a few hours. The next day after hearing nothing, received an email saying it would be ready by Monday. Then on Monday morning received an email saying it would not be ready until the following Monday. This is ridiculous emas Theall we had ordered was 8 2x4's. The email stated to contact the store to get a refund and cancel the order. Called into the store and was rudely told "we probably don't have your item in stock, you have to do all that refund stuff online." So why did the online system take our money and state it was in stock and would be ready in a few hours? Absolutely terrible handling of the situation and will never order from here again. Had no problems with my online order at home depot in Huntsville that I placed on the same day, and was able to pick up on the same day.

I have found Mike, Steve and Dale very helpful at the Memorial Drive Rona. We bought an entry way door from Rona and Dale spent at least an hour with us helping us choose the style and colour. He made calls to his suppliers, when necessary and was very humble when I thanked him for his help and patience. I feel like I made a friend and will definitely shop at Rona again. We love our new door and have had compliments on it.

I have a similar experience to the person who was made to feel stupid or a waste of time. This was at the Memorial Drive location, and I stopped to ask questions of the two people who were at the counter near the back. One barely could pull his eyes off whatever he was looking at on the counter in front of him to address me. The other one just stood and smirked when he thought I wasn't looking. Both were middle-aged. I walked out and went to another store.
Now that was over a year ago and I hadn't gone back since. This past month I did go back (shortly before the top-soil sale on Saturday, and again on that Saturday to buy what I needed), and this time the staff were helpful, friendly. They were young staff, one of whom was working the register, the other one working the yards but who had come inside when I talked to him. Another older fellow was also helpful as he took me back out into the yards to show me what they had for gravel and top soils. I felt treated well and with respect and friendly courtesy. Well done to Rona.
