Absolutely terrible experience.
Last Tuesday, this plumber charged me $1,300 for a kitchen drain hydro-jet cleaning. The entire job took less than 20 minutes before he left. Just three days later, the drain was completely clogged again.
When I contacted him, he admitted he would come back and clear it again for free. However, when he arrived today, he suddenly tried to charge me another $1,100 and called it a “deal.” A deal? After I had already paid $1,300 for a repair that failed within three days?
It became obvious that the original work was never completed properly. He only cleaned the pipe in one direction instead of thoroughly cleaning the entire line. That’s likely why the blockage returned almost immediately.
Paying $1,300 for a service that lasts only three days is unacceptable. What’s even worse is the attempt to charge me again instead of standing behind his work and honoring his promise.
I feel like I paid premium pricing for a rushed, incomplete job with no real warranty or accountability. Save your money and look elsewhere. I would never use this company again and cannot recommend them to anyone.

Rick and crew were awesome. Came in with equipment, Nose to the grindstone, and got the job done. Clean up was Phenomenal. Price was very reasonable. Communication and Politeness, was 100%. Will difinitey call again, Highly recommend

Rick and his partner were able to go from first call about replacing our hot water tank to job completed in less than 24 hours (we first called them at 5pm), we thought this would be a weeks long process full of headaches and but we couldn't have been more wrong! They were here less than a full day later, gave me a more than reasonable quote, even fixed a small water leak from a pipe in our furnace room at no additional charge! AND they were an absolute delight to deal with in every conceivable way! Hauled away our old tank and before we could blink they were done and on there way! I can recommend them enough for any and all your plumbing needs. This was the second job they've done for us and ill never consider calling any other plumbers but them ever again! Thanks guys! Wish all service guys could be as awesome ay you!

This is my 2nd attempt to post a review since the 1st one wasn’t posted.
Spent the entire day on November 22 trying to get my clogged kitchen sink fixed. 1st plumber who came in early in the morning as part of my coverage plan made it significantly worse. 2nd plumber who came from a franchised company was asking for an arm and a leg so I had to decline. I still ended up paying $70 for the assessment and quote.
Rick came over on short notice and fixed the issue for a competitive and reasonable price. He provided a guarantee that if he is unable to resolve the issue, I don’t have to pay him anything. Rick delivered as promised! He and his assistant cleaned up after the job was done. They were friendly and professional. It was a great experience and would definitely be a repeat customer. Highly recommended!

Rick and his team at Drain Rooter were great! I own a rental property in Edmonton that had a kitchen drain plugged. They got to the property the same day and had the clog dealt with in 15 minutes!
Professional, quick and at a very fair price. When I called around lots of places quoted outrageous amounts. Rick's price was fair and his response time was second to none. Rick & Drain Rooter will be my first call for any future needs!
