Make sure you verify what was ordered on your invoice and what was actually installed!
I would never recommend Romanuik to anyone. We had a furnace and air conditioner installed in May this year. The quality of the work was pathetic. You can tell, that no one has any pride for what they do any more. They are simply there to collect a pay check, get in and out as fast as possible and pray that you're not smart enough to look over the work that was done.
The first problem was the side of my house. Apparently, the pictures below are a completed job. Some kind of tin foil jammed in the hole void and globbed with silicon, unfilled holes from the previous setup and a poor job on the venting. Why would you vent the furnace over top of the air conditioner? Complained and they came and fixed SOME of what should have been done in the first place. I will fix the vent myself.
I had to finish the duct taping around the furnace myself because it was done so poorly.
Inspection failed because they didn't upgrade to the correct breaker size when they installed the first air conditioner.
Then we found out they installed a smaller air conditioner then was quoted. Make sure you are verifying what is being installed by the model and serial number. Quoted a 2.5 ton a/c and they installed a 2.0 ton.
Since the first a/c had to be removed the foam pipe insulation had to be removed to install a new one. The replacement one could have been installed by my 3 year old. Absolutely pathetic. I guess I will fix this myself too.
Pay almost 16k for a sub par job and nothing but headaches. Stay clear.

Dillon the sales rep was great he was professional and kind,
however the guys working on our home were kind but definitely inexperienced they left the house a mess scuffed the paint on our walls and instead of cutting small individual holes through our house they cut one massive hole and filled the remaining extra space with an ugly mess of silicone, that doesn’t even cover the entirety of the open hole. Getting a hold of customer service is a pain and when I finally got through they didn’t even really seem to care just said they’d get in touch with the installers who “would get back to me at some point”
Definitely frustrated with the lack of professionalism with the work especially at the price paid.

Installed Furnace, Air-conditioner and a Hot water tank for our house. Morgan and Raylin were the installers and they finished the work in very reasonable time. They were on time for the work and done excellent job in cleaning work area. Highly recommend Romaniuk for heating & Air conditioning work.

Total Lack of Professionalism and Property Damage
I hired Romaniuk for a hot water tank replacement, expecting professional results for a $4,200+ investment. Instead, I received amateur-level workmanship and significant damage to my home.
The highlights of this disastrous experience include:
Property Damage: The three-man crew gouged a substantial scratch into my basement stairwell. Later, instead of tilting the tank to navigate a tight space, they forced it through upright, displacing my furnace vent pipe and cracking the drywall.
Damaged Equipment: My brand-new tank now has a large dent. If I wanted a "scratch and dent" model, I would have purchased a floor model for a discount, not paid full price for a professional install.
Poor Workmanship: The soldering is horrific—the top of the tank is covered in solder spatter. It’s clear the installers lacked basic pride in their craft.
Dismissive Attitude: When the damage was pointed out, one tech responded, "Its just an mechanical room ..." This is unacceptable; I expect my home to be respected regardless of the room. I had removed the drywall a day before after consulting the first tech that quoted the job was was told there was enough room if we went with the smaller tank. You should see the video....
Zero Accountability: I called twice to resolve these issues. Both times I was promised a follow-up that never happened. It has been a week since the install.
I honored my end of the contract by paying in full. Romaniuk failed to honor their "professional service" mantra. I only hired them to ensure a valid warranty, but given the quality of the install, it certainly was not worth it.

Brent D was very professional and knowledgeable. His service representing the company was way above excellence. Very clear and focused with the work. The furnace looks great now and performs well too. It was a value for money to purchase the monthly plan. Brent arrived promptly and was very polite and has excellent knowledge about the furnace . Clear professional communication. Great service from Brent, the customer service and Romaniuk! I will definitely recommend the company and its monthly plans too. Thanks Nyo V
